HAUTE COUTURE SHOW

The arrival in Paris of the Games* – the sacred embodiment of competition – incited Maria Grazia Chiuri to pay a fitting tribute to all athletes who, from antiquity to the present day, have overcome prejudice and obstacles to ensure a level playing field in sports. The Dior haute couture autumn-winter 2024-2025 line comes to life against a backdrop of hard-won political freedom for women's bodies.

THE SCENOGRAPHY

As an artist, feminist, activist and educator, Faith Ringgold has challenged and questioned perceptions of African American identity and gender inequality for almost seven decades. The scenography of the Dior haute couture autumn-winter 2024-2025 show features paintings from some of her most emblematic series which pay homage to the world of sport.
